Frankie Medina
Medical Professional and Recovery Advocate
Frankie Medina is a dedicated medical professional and recovery advocate with over
three years of certified phlebotomy experience in Florida. Currently serving as a
Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant at Mayfaire Medical in Fort Lauderdale. Frankie is
recognized for his precision, patient-centered care, and deep compassion for individuals
navigating health and recovery challenges.
His professional background spans roles with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and
Broward House, where he provided HIV and STI testing, facilitated “Chemsex” process
groups, and connected clients to vital mental health, housing, and substance-use
resources. Frankie’s hands-on expertise and commitment to continuing education have led
him to specialize further in HIV care, with multiple certifications and ongoing training
through the Florida Department of Health.
Since achieving recovery, Frankie has devoted his life to service, personal growth,
and giving back to the community. In 2023, he founded a C.M.A. (Crystal Meth
Anonymous) meeting at The Pride Center at Equality Park, which continues to grow
steadily. He also revived the H&I (Hospitals & Institutions) commitment for C.M.A. South
Florida, building a trusted team that now brings recovery meetings into multiple treatment
centers.
Balancing a thriving medical career with active community involvement, Frankie
embodies compassion, leadership, and purpose using his own experience to help others heal, recover, and find hope.
