How Respite Support Changes Lives in Broward County
Across Broward County, hundreds of people need safe, short-term recovery support. Our Respite Program provides that critical bridge, helping individuals stabilize and move toward lasting recovery. In 2025, we served over 500 unduplicated individuals, and since 2018, more than 6,000 people have benefited, with over 80% successfully transitioning to long-term recovery housing or treatment.
This Matters Because
Early recovery and moments of crisis can be the most vulnerable times. Without support, it can be difficult to regain stability.
The Respite Program provides:
- Immediate safety and structure
- Connection to people who understand
- Guidance toward long-term recovery solutions
You are not alone in this process.
Recovery is not always linear
Setbacks happen. What matters is having a safe place to land, regroup, and take your next step forward.
